Parker Physical Therapy

My treatment is based on a combination of orthopedic expertise and empathy. I aim to get to know the whole person to help you meet your specific needs and goals in a timely and efficient manner. By getting to know you as a person first, I can create a plan that goes beyond the surface level and addresses all relevant concerns. With a strong focus on evidence-based, patient focused care and a passion for continuing education (including training in FMS, PRI, manual therapy, strength and conditioning, and TMJ, among others), I aim to be constantly improving so I can provide you with the highest possible level of care.

I believe that educating the patient on what is going on with their body is the most important part of physical therapy. Once patients understand what is happening and how exercise and manual therapy can benefit them, then both the patient and therapist can work together to meet their goals.

I believe in improving function through education, hands on treatment, exercise and evidence based practice. I think the patient should have just as much say in their treatment as I do in order to achieve the best outcomes possible.

As a physical therapist, I am a huge believer in exercise and movement to enhance quality of life and lead to pain-free function. I am passionate about caring for athletes, but I love treating all conditions and ages

I take an evidence-based, individualized, and collaborative approach to rehabilitation. I believe the greatest progress is achieved when working towards goals that are meaningful to my patients and based on return to functional activities. Patient education, humor, and creativity are important elements in my treatments to work toward positive outcomes. 

The goal of individualized care to help patients return to life with as much normalcy as possible. Coaching about pain and tolerance as well as when to push and challenge themselves to grow towards improvement. Creating a fun, open environment to ensure that patients come in ready and willing to get better, no matter the challenge.

Mark believes in approaching each patient and their injury with compassion, and helping the therapist create a treatment plan based on the patient's individual needs. Mark believes these goals are reached through a combination of functional exercises, modalities, and manual therapy. Specialties include: Soft Tissue Massage and functional exercise.
